1. Introduction

FamilyTask is published by Avaetch Tools ("we", "our", "us"). We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the data needed to provide and secure the app:

• Parent account: email address (for authentication) and name
• Children profiles: names, PINs, and avatar preferences
• Tasks and incentives: titles, descriptions, completion status, points and family-agreed allowance amounts
• Family and access data: family name, family code, session identifiers and temporary QR pairing tokens

3. How We Use Your Data

We use family data to:

• Authenticate your account and manage sessions
• Create and manage family tasks
• Track points and family-agreed allowance amounts
• Enable family sharing via QR codes

4. Data Storage

Family account data is stored on Supabase's hosted infrastructure. The app uses HTTPS to transmit data to the service.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: may display advertisements in the parent profile only. It may process device identifiers and usage data according to its own privacy policy. The app does not request ads in child profiles. Where required, parents can review their advertising privacy choices in the app's Settings.
• Supabase: cloud database and authentication infrastructure.
• Mailjet: sends confirmation emails for account deletion requests. The parent's email address and name are used to deliver that message.

6. Children's Privacy

A parent or guardian creates and manages children's profiles and decides which names and tasks to enter. Children can mark tasks as completed; that activity is stored as part of the family account. The app does not request ads in child profiles. Parents can delete the family account and associated child data at any time.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as required by the third-party services listed above or when required by law.

8. Data Retention

We retain family account data while the account is active. Deleting the account removes its family, child profiles, tasks and sessions from the active database. Service-provider backups and delivery logs may be retained under their respective retention policies.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the app
• Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from the app settings, or by visiting our account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of FamilyTask after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
